The object library

The object library is the repository for all site resources (assets)

This library is actually a dynamic directory where all objects are stored for use throughout the client's operations. The assets may be a logo, a snippet of text or code, a drawing or picture - actually anything destined for common use throughout the client's business operations. Examples of the latter may be a website, a newsletter, poster, promotional flyer, POS showcard or any other "document" where consistency of message is important.

The benefit is that once each object is created and filed. the hard work has been done. It is prudent for management to insist on the use of these objects and prohibit any unauthorised persons from modifying, deleting or adding to them.  That discourages the invention of materials that may not be aligned to to approved strategies.

The example here is actually nothing more than a simple Excel file for a business creating burl artefacts. This library includes specification tables, pictures, and the code snippets for the shopping cart.
